Schedule of High School PSR 2009-2010 Session
Please refer to this schedule for classes. Notices will be posted in the church bulletin prior to class. Every effort was made to schedule classes on the first Wednesday of each month, unless there was a holiday or feast day. Post cards are no longer sent as a reminder. Remember, you may only miss one class session and still pass for the year. If you are absent, you must make up that assignment.
When you arrive for class, please park in the small lot on Gardere Lane behind the gym. This will enable everyone to get into the parking lot while elementary carpool is still moving. If you are being dropped off, please have your ride drop you in that lot as well. You can be picked up in front of the school building at 9:00 PM. If you have any questions, please call the Church Office.

Efforts were made to check the East Baton Rouge Parish School Schedule prior to the scheduling of all classes. According to the parish, all exams will take place the last week of school in December. For this reason, PSR was scheduled in the early part of the month.
The Child Protection Session is a requirement of the Diocese of Baton Rouge. All students are required to participate unless parents sign an “Opt Out” letter and will present the material to their child at home. More information will be sent prior to the class.
REMINDER: It is your responsibility to complete any
makeup work before the next class period. Please mail the work to Mrs. Rogers
in the envelope that will be provided for you.

For those of you preparing for Confirmation, it is imperative that you follow this PSR schedule concurrently with your Confirmation program. The PSR component of the Confirmation program must be completed prior to Confirmation in accordance with diocesan policy. If you have any conflicts with the schedule, contact Mrs. Rogers as soon as possible.

Sat., August 22, 2009: Day of Reflection, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM, including 4:00 PM Mass, Retreat begins in School Library, then to Church for Reconciliation & Mass

Wed., September 16, 2009: Class Session, 7:15-9:00 PM, School

(The Day of Reflection will count as three class periods. Students are required to complete seven class sessions during 11th Grade. This will complete all the requirements for Confirmation as well. Eleventh graders will complete PSR in October.)
