Family & Community Life
This ministry serves to make initial contact with and welcome new parishioners when the move into the parish. Currently this is handled in part by our parish office staff and the area representatives of our Parish Advisory Council. Parishioners who may be interested in assisting with this ministry are asked to contact the Director of Ministries at the parish office.
Family Life Ministry
Families with young children share in activities, social and spiritual. They take part in service projects for the parish and community.
Any male parishioner (age 21+years) is invited to join to assist and support the parish and school in projects, programs, events, grounds keeping, etc. Meetings are held quarterly. The SJMC sponsors a grant program to assist with funds for various ministries. Visit the website at www.sjmc.org.
Knights of Columbus
A Catholic, family-oriented, fraternal organization. The Knights work toward the Christian goals of unity, fraternity, and charity. They endeavor to set examples of Christian charity and promotion of Catholic values both in the church parish and in the community. KC members sponsor a monthly Coffee and Doughnuts Reception (fourth Sundays) after 8:00 AM Mass where the Family of the Month Award is announced and recognized. Any adult male who is a practicing Catholic and is 18 or older is eligible for membership.
DMA (Don’t Mention Age)
For parishioners 50+ years of age. Mission of this group is to support one another socially and spiritually and to assist shut-ins. This group meets quarterly for a pot-luck luncheon, has Advent & Lenten Prayer Services and takes bus trips occasionally.
Kaycee Ladies Auxiliary
Ladies promote fellowship through religious and social activities by assisting our Knights of Columbus in all of their endeavors.
