CONFIRMATION 2008 May 14, 2008 Parent Meeting at 7 PM in Church (Mandatory for enrollment) July 17, 2008 Letters of Intent, Baptismal Certificate, Picture of Candidate, Sponsor Information Form & Confirmation Fee Due September 7, 2008 Session I (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) – Parish Hall September 14, 2008 Session II (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) – Host Homes Service Hours Due to Group Leaders (10 hours) written on blue form & documented correctly September 21, 2008 Confirmation Retreat (9:15 – 5:00 – includes 9:45 am Mass) *Retreat (9:15 AM – 5:00 PM) – Activity Center – Mandatory Participation September 28, 2008 Session III (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) – Host Homes October 5, 2008 Session IV (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) – Host Homes Saint Name & Request for the Sacrament Papers Due to Group Leaders October 12, 2008 Parish Mission – Church (6:00 PM – 7:15 PM) Confirmation candidates sit in reserved seating section. October 19, 2008 Session V (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) – Host Homes October 26, 2008 Session VI (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) – Host Homes November 2, 2008 No Session November 9, 2008 *Makeup for Sessions Missed - Hall (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) 6:00 PM – Rehearsal for Candidates and Sponsors - Church November 16, 2008 Confirmation – 3:00 PM – Church Candidates report to gym no later than 2:15 PM for group picture & meeting with Bishop. Sponsors arrive at 2:30 PM. *Make up class is to be used for emergency reasons only. Contact DRE for permission. If service hours are not turned in by deadline or if the candidate does not attend the retreat, the candidate will not be confirmed. There will be no exceptions. |
