Lenten Bags for the Haiti Mission

As part of our Lenten observance, we are filling cloth bags for our Haiti Mission.  Pick up your bag in the foyer of the church and return it during Holy Week/Easter.

Catholic Relief Services

Our Mission in Aquin, Haiti, was only minimally damaged by the earthquake.  Sr. Janelle Sevier, SND, who is in Haiti, is helping with the relief effort.  Please pray for the people of Haiti.  Current estimates are 150,000 dead; 609,000 are homeless.

WORLD MARRIAGE DAY:  FEBRUARY 13:  St. Jude will honor couples celebrating 5n years of marriage, where n is greater than or equal to 5, at the 4pm liturgy.  See the Jan 31 Bulletin link to sign up....KNITTERS AND CROCHETERS:  Consider joining our St. Martha Ministry, which makes prayer blankets and shawls for homebound parishioners, SVDP clients, and OLOL's children's cancer unit.  Call Mary or Charmaine at 766-2431.......Rosary for Vocations:  Wed. at 6pm in the church each week......If you visit our church, know that we are honored by your presence. Our parish offers preparation for sacraments, education for children and adults, social activities for all ages, assistance to those in difficulty, and comfort to the sick and those who mourn a loss.  If we can be of service to you, do not hesitate to call on us at 766-2431.

Parish Registration:  All families should complete a parish census form through the Parish Office to be formally registered at St. Jude the Apostle Church.

Care of the Sick:  Emergency calls are answered immediately, when possible.  Call the Parish Office at 766-2431 for emergencies.  Visits to the homebound are made on a regular basis by our priests and Eucharistic Ministers.  Pleases notify the Parish Office when confined to hospital or home.  

Anointing of the Sick is done by request for serious illness, prior to surgery, for the elderly, and at an annual service in the fall, as advertised in the bulletin. 

Christian Burial:  Families should contact the Parish Office for funeral arrangements.
